Nico Iamaleava tried to find the end zone on third down, but referees missed a roughing the passer penalty on UNLV defensive lineman Lucas Conti as Iamaleava tried to find an open receiver in the end zone.
Still, it was another solid drive for the Bruins after they looked completely lost for much of the first half.
Gilmer made a spectacular juggling catch for 12 yards during the drive, the first time UCLA converted on third down in 10 attempts tonight.
