James Walter Wehsener
OBITUARY
James Walter Wehsener, 94, of San Diego, California, died July 14, 2025. James was born and raised in Blue Earth, Minnesota, where he worked on family farms. He served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict. In 1956, he moved to California to raise a family rooted in faith. He was a devoted husband, and cherished time with family. He founded JW Electric, volunteered at church, and coached youth sports. He was an avid skier and long time member of San Diego Ski Club.
He is survived by his wife of 70 years, Shari; six children; nineteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters; five nephews and one niece.
A service will be held at Clairemont Emmanuel Baptist Church in San Diego on Saturday, 9/27/25, at 2:00pm. The Family requests that donations be sent to the Missions Fund at Clairemont Emmanuel Baptist Church.
