The Mayor of Long Beach Township shared that the whale was found this morning on the 130th Street beach in the Beach Haven Terrace section of the township.

According to the Marine Mammal Stranding Center, the 25 to 30 foot long whale was on the younger side and has been significantly decomposed.

The center is waiting for a low tide so they can safely pull the mammal onto the beach for a closer examination.
