New York State Police and other first responders are on scene of a serious motor vehicle crash involving a passenger car and a tractor trailer on State Route 17 east between exit 61 (Barton) and exit 62 (Nichols).
Troopers were dispatched to the area shortly after 4:30 a.m.
All eastbound traffic is being diverted until further notice.
