FAYETTEVILLE — ESPN 4-star small forward and Arkansas basketball target Abdou Toure will make an official visit to Fayetteville this weekend.
Toure, 6-6 and 185 pounds, of West Haven (Conn.) Notre Dame, recently made an official visit to Providence. He announced a top seven of Arkansas, Maryland, Providence, Oregon, Louisville, Florida State and Connecticut on Aug. 20.
Arkansas assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin watched Toure play for Guinea in Istanbul, Turkey, during the 17-under FIBA World Cup last summer.
The visit will be his second to Arkansas. He made an unofficial visit to Fayetteville last fall for the weekend of the LSU football game.
Toure was named the 2024-25 Connecticut MaxPreps Player of the Year, his second consecutive season winning the award, after averaging 25.2 points, 6.5 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game. He shot 61.3% from the field, 34.3% from three-point range and 74.2% from the free-throw line.
He was also named the Connecticut Gatorade Player of the Year.
ESPN rates Toure the nation’s No. 35 overall prospect and No. 16 small forward in the 2026 class.
