Hounds Town, a dog day care, is opening a new location on Blanco Road in North San Antonio.

The gist

According to its website, Hounds Town offers a wide range of pet care services, including interactive, supervised playgroups built around pack-based socialization, with dogs grouped by size and temperament. Additionally, the dog daycare is known not to discriminate by dog breed.

Hounds Town offers overnight dog daycare, a pet taxi service, cat boarding and pet spa services, such as nail trimming, teeth brushing and bathing.

According to a Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation listing, renovation work on the 8,000-square-foot building was scheduled to begin Aug. 1 and is estimated to be completed by Nov. 30.
