Farmer Boys, the California-based fast-casual burger chain, has opened its third restaurant in the Phoenix area and is planning a broader expansion throughout the market.
The latest Valley Farmer Boys restaurant is in Gilbert at 1535 N Higley Road, off Val Vista Drive and Loop 202. The new restaurant was built from the ground up and developed by Atlas Properties.
The restaurant is open for breakfast and closes at midnight as it seeks to find a range of customers coming nearly all hours of the day. The new Gilbert Farmer Boys is owned and operated by franchisee Omar Mawas, who has been a franchisee with the company for several years and is looking to open more in the Valley.
Farmer Boys entered the Phoenix market in 2021 with a store in Gilbert. It has then opened another store in Tolleson. The company has several restaurants in development including in Goodyear and Surprise. Still, Farmer Boys is looking at add more locations across the Valley.
