A Kings County man made the purchase of a lifetime, winning the top prize in the New York Lottery’s Extreme Cash scratch-off game, lottery officials announced.
Abdelfatah Fadili of Brooklyn claimed the $3 million prize and opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment totaling $1,304,071, after required withholdings, according to officials.
The winning ticket was purchased at Exxon, located at 3031 Coney Island Ave. in Brooklyn.
As of this writing, all top prizes on the Extreme Cash scratch-off game have been claimed. Valid lower-tier prizes may be claimed until May 20, 2026. Players may check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.

School districts across the five boroughs received $1,427,185,199 in Lottery Aid to Education funds during the same period.
