San Diego Wave FC (8-5-6, 30 points) welcome Gotham FC (7-6-6, 27 points) to Snapdragon Stadium on Friday, Sept. 12, in a clash with playoff implications.

The teenager coolly slotted home the game’s only goal in the 30th minute, dancing around her marker before curling a shot with the outside of her boot — sealing a 1-0 victory and stretching San Diego’s all-time edge in the matchup to 6-1-1. 

Heading into this one, the Wave will be eager to shake off the sting of a 3-0 defeat to the Houston Dash on Sept. 7, while Gotham come in with momentum after rallying for a 3-1 comeback win over Angel City FC the same night.
