Plenty to see on the ASUS stand at IBC, from stunning images on a wide variety of monitors, laptops that redefine what you can do away from a workstation, to routers that help prioritize creative traffic.
ProArt Cinema PQ09U
It’s genuinely difficult to choose a specific highlight from the ASUS stand, there is so much to see, but let’s start with the ASUS ProArt Cinema PQ09U, which is the latest addition to the ProArt Cinema micro-LED display lineup. It is genuinely huge at 162-inches, and the 4K UHD HDR monitor features advanced panel technologies, ultra small 0.93 mm pixel pitch, 1200 nits peak brightness, high 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio, and 97% DCI-P3 color gamut. We might need to pluck up some courage to ask how much it is.
ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV
We definitely know the ProArt Display 6K PA32QCV is €1299 though. We’ve actually just given it one of our coveted IBC2025 Awards, so you can read the details of it over there. Suffice to say though that it is probably one of the best monitors you can get for an Apple Mac (or anywhere else) at the moment and features a lovely 6016 x 3384 resolution screen with 216 pixels per inch and covers 98% DCI-P3 and 100% sRGB.
ProArt OLED PA27USD
New at the show is the ProArt OLED PA27USD. This 27-inch 4K UHD monitor delivers 99% coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut, and is factory pre-calibrated to achieve an average Delta E value of less than one for superb color accuracy. ProArt Hardware Calibration technology provides color-accuracy optimization and color profile write-back.
It features 1000 nits of peak brightness, and true 10-bit color depth, supports multiple HDR metadata formats, including HDR10 and HLG, and works seamlessly with Calman and Light Illusion ColourSpace CMS professional hardware calibration software.
Connectivity options, including 12G SDI, Dual Thunderbolt 4 with up to 96 W power delivery and daisy-chaining, HDMI ports, and a built-in USB hub, mean that you are likely to find it in a lot of different places when it ships next year for what we’re told will be €2199. It even features a wraparound hood that reduces on-screen reflections from nearby light sources, enabling users to work with confidence in a studio with nearby bright lights or even outdoors.
