Joe Burrow exited the Cincinnati Bengals‘ game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday with an apparent ankle injury.

Burrow remained down on the field after being sacked by Jaguars defensive lineman Arik Armstead on second-and-20. Trainers attended to him before he went to the sideline and entered the medical tent before heading to the locker room with an apparent limp.

Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer and the USA TODAY Network captured video of Burrow heading into the locker room with no shoe on his left foot.

Backup quarterback Jake Browning entered the game in his place.

Burrow completed eight of 14 passes for 83 yards and a touchdown before leaving the game. The Bengals trailed 14-7 at the time of his exit.
