Eric Clapton is closing out his U.S. tour this week with three final shows in the Northeast.
It’s the last chance to see the 80-year-old music legend — and triple Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee — before he returns home across the Atlantic.
After a stop in Boston on Tuesday and a Friday performance at Madison Square Garden in New York City, Clapton will wrap up the run on Saturday at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.
He’ll be joined by his all-star touring band: Doyle Bramhall II (guitar/vocals), Chris Stainton (keyboards), Tim Carmon (Hammond/keyboards), Nathan East (bass/vocals), Sonny Emory III (drums), and vocalists Sharon White and Katie Kissoon. The Wallflowers have also been along since the Nashville leg, opening shows throughout the tour.
We’ve included the full schedule of remaining dates below, along with details on how to get tickets.
Clapton Revisits His Classics on Tour
Clapton began the tour in Columbus, Ohio, with a benefit concert for the Crossroads Centre Antigua. From there, he returned to Nashville, the city where he first performed in 1970 and taped an appearance for The Johnny Cash Show, before moving on to Philadelphia this past weekend.
“Slowhand” has leaned into his deep catalog throughout the tour, performing material from Derek and the Dominos’ 1970 classic Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs.
Highlights have included blues staples like Key to the Highway and Nobody Knows You When You’re Down and Out, alongside originals such as Tell the Truth.
Fans have also heard enduring favorites like Layla and later classics such as Tears in Heaven.
