Cinema enthusiasts in Scottsdale get a special treat this week.
At 7 p.m. on Sept. 18 at the Harkins Camelview at Fashion Square, visitors can view a special screening of the comedy film “Splitsville” followed by a live, in-person Q&A with stars Michael Angelo Covino and Kyle Marvin. Covino stars in and directed the film, which he co-wrote with fellow co-star Marvin. Both actors will share their insights into the creative process and the making of the film during the Q&A session.
The film follows the misadventures of Carey (Marvin), who seeks the help of his friends Julie (Dakota Johnson) and Paul (Covino) for support after his wife Ashley (Adria Arjona) asks for a divorce. Carey discovers that the secret to Julie and Paul’s happiness is an open marriage, but Carey’s involvement soon throws both relationships into chaos.
