Law enforcement officials in Philadelphia are seeking help from the public to identify a man who, officials claim, was found wandering the city’s Mayfair neighborhood and has been unable to provide police with any information about who he is or where he’s from.
Officials said he has been hospitalized and is considered a “John Doe.”

According to police, this individual, believed to be somewhere between 40 and 50 years old, was hospitalized after he was found walking in the area of Robbins Street and Frankford Avenue at about 6:40 a.m. on Sept. 16, 2025.
The man has been described by police as being bald, standing about five-foot, eight-inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds.
He has been unable to provide officials with his name, where he lives or any other identifying information, officials said.
