A 36-year-old man was shot and killed in Kensington on Saturday night while dropping off his car at an auto shop, Philadelphia Police Inspector DF Pace told NBC10.

The man, who has not been identified, was dropping the car off at 2900 block of B Street at around 6:10 p.m. when he was shot multiple times, Pace said.

A family member of the man was also inside the car at the time, but is not hurt, Pace said.

The man was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 6:32 p.m., police said.

No arrests have been made and a motive has not yet been determined, police said.
