After starting the new Gainbridge Super League season with three consecutive victories, Dallas Trinity FC has hit a speed bump in getting just one point from its last two matches.

A 68th-minute equalizing goal from Carlee Giammona ensured a draw between Trinity and host Tampa Bay Sun FC on Saturday night at James “Big Jim” Williams Stadium in Florida.

Trinity’s Allie Thornton, who led the league in scoring last season with 13 goals, netted her second goal of the young season in the 6th minute to give Trinity an early advantage.
