SAN ANTONIO — The Sweet & Savory Showdown brought a feast of flavors to Brooster’s Backyard Ice House on Saturday, offering a delightful experience for food enthusiasts and families alike.
The free admission event featured a pet-friendly atmosphere, with attendees purchasing $10 wristbands to sample 10 sweet and 10 savory offerings from 20 different vendors.
The event aimed to showcase the best of San Antonio’s culinary scene, with sample contestants, special guest judges, a flavor flight, and a vendor market. Guests were also encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.
In addition to the culinary delights, the event included face painters, bounce houses, and college football viewing.
