Arizona has opened as a 6.5-point underdog at Iowa State, according to FanDuel Sportsbook. Arizona and No. 12 Iowa State kick off at 4 p.m. PST Saturday on ESPN.

Arizona is coming off a 23-17 home victory over Kansas State in a game it entered as a slight underdog. Both Arizona and Iowa State had bye weeks this weekend.

Arizona is 6-3-1 ATS in its last 10 games coming off a bye week, dating back to to 2014. Last year Arizona covered only two games all season and both were after byes: The UA beat Utah 23-10 as a 7.5-point underdog and defeated Houston 27-3 as a 1.5-point favorite.

The Wildcats went 1-3 ATS last season as road underdogs of at least six points, with the one cover coming against Utah.

Arizona faces an Iowa State program that is 2-1-1 ATS in 2025. The Cyclones were three-touchdown favorites last week at Arkansas State and failed to cover, winning 24-16. Iowa State is 5-5 in its last 10 games coming off a bye.

Arizona and Iowa State are playing for the first time since 1968. Arizona defeated the Cyclones in Ames 21-12 that year. Arizona is 4-1-1 all time in the series.
