Carson Hocevar and the No. 77 Spire Motorsports team will showcase a new look this fall after landing a multi-race sponsor.

According to a press release, Classic Collision will support the second-year driver for two races, starting with a trip to Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, Oct. 12. The second date on the multi-race deal will be the Nov. 2 season finale at Phoenix Raceway.

“I’m really eager to have Classic Collision come on board for Las Vegas and Phoenix,” said Hocevar in a press release. “They are all about having fun and going big and there are no better places to celebrate than Vegas and at the last race of the season.

“We’ve worked hard to improve our speedway program and have been really strong on the mile-and-a-half tracks. Phoenix has always been a favorite of mine and that’s where I clinched Rookie of the Year last season, so I’m really looking forward to welcoming a new partner and having them on board at a couple tracks where we expect to run up front.”

The partnership with Hocevar takes place as the Michigan native finishes out a career-best season. Hocevar has posted two top-five finishes and eight top-10s. He also has one pole win. He has posted these numbers despite dealing with some unexpected mechanical failures in multiple races.

Classic Collision is no stranger to NASCAR. The large chain of privately-owned auto body repair shops has spent several races supporting an Xfinity Series driver.

Classic Collision joined Ryan Ellis on a multi-race deal in 2023 as he drove for Alpha Prime Racing. The company made its debut on the No. 43 Chevrolet at Atlanta Motor Speedway and then returned at Texas Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway to close out the season.

Classic Collision returned to Ellis and Alpha Prime Racing for 13 races last season and then followed him to DGM Racing this season. The auto body repair chain has taken over Ellis’s No. 71 Chevrolet in seven races this season, most recently at Portland International Raceway.
