Booking a venue in Downtown this holiday season? Here are some things to know:
• Book Early: Unsurprisingly, in a city as bustling as Los Angeles, places fill their calendars quickly. Holidays are a peak time for parties and renting out event spaces and restaurants, and booking early means more options for dates and venues.
• Know What You Are Getting: Venue rent fees can vary and, oftentimes, restaurants and venues have additional services that they provide for a charge. When booking a venue or restaurant, make sure to know whether it comes with catering and beverage options, enough seating, staff and equipment, as needed.
• Choose a Theme: Several venues in Los Angeles already have an incredible feel ambiance. However, adding entertainment — such as a band, a DJ or a photo booth — can make the party feel energized and personal. Plus, some locations have holiday decor packages.
