GOP candidate Curtis Sliwa claimed deep-pocked donors have been trying to “bribe” him to drop out of the New York City mayoral race – but his message to them Thursday was: “Stop calling.”
The Guardian Angels founder insisted supporters of former Gov. Andrew Cuomo were behind lucrative job offers as the crowded race to lead City Hall took another bizarre turn with Election Day about a month away.
“There’s no price that can get me out of this race, no amount of money, no bribe, and again, if anybody comes forward on behalf of Andrew Cuomo or anybody else, it will be recorded, and it will be brought to the proper authorities,” Sliwa said during a press conference.

He said he’s been told by suitors there are “millions of dollars” he could collect for a security job either internationally or in the tristate region.
Sliwa, Cuomo, Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani and Mayor Eric Adams are all still in the race, but there’s been a push for Adams and Sliwa to drop out because polls show Cuomo has the best shot at stopping front running socialist from taking City Hall.
Sliwa said he’s received seven phone calls — as recently as Wednesday – pleading with him to set aisde in exchange for a flashy job.

He said he’s swiftly rejected each alleged offer.
“They said you can use the money for your program for Guardian Angels or your wife’s animal program,” Sliwa told The Post in an interview.
“You can be the security director and make a few million dollars each year but you would have to drop out. It sounds very unethical; it could be bribery, and I said I think you should stop calling.”

Cuomo’s campaign strongly rejected Sliwa’s insinuations with a spokesperson calling him a “liar” and “fraudster.”
“His campaign actually tried to get us to join his stunt lawsuit against WABC,” said Rich Azzopardi. “This is more of the same.”
The governor, in a Bloomberg interview earlier Thursday, said Sliwa’s accusations are “all malarkey” because he refuses to name names.
“You have to take Sliwa with a grain of salt,” Cuomo added. “He is a known con-man.”
Adams also accused Sliwa of peddling nonsense and said he hasn’t been offered any bribes to exit the race.
“Listen, the only fact about Curtis Sliwa is that Curtis Sliwa is a liar,” said Adams, who was facing corruption charges before they were dropped out by the Trump administration.
Speculation raged earlier this month that President Trump was floating a spot in the administration for Adams if he were willing to leave the race, but those job prospects were all but dead now.
Insiders have told The Post the possible job fizzled when it became clear Sliwa wouldn’t drop out of the race either.
While Adams has not officially left the race, he hasn’t held a campaign event in about a week.
