Security shoots man armed with pipe during fight at Houston water treatment plant, HPD says

Houston police are investigating after a man was shot by security during a confrontation at a Houston water treatment facility on Friday morning.

The incident happened around 9 a.m. at the facility located at 4400 block of Westpark Drive. Investigators say a man armed with a pipe got into an argument and a fight with security before he was shot.

HPD is on the scene and continuing their investigation.

This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available.
