CORVALLIS — Oregon State football is 0-4 and the sentiment around the locker room is that the time to turn the season around is right now.
After being on the receiving end of consecutive beatdowns courtesy of US LBM Coaches Poll’s No. 5 Oregon and No. 14 Texas Tech, Oregon State has the opportunity to capitalize on the approach of a weaker remaining schedule.
“Getting a win is pivotal,” OSU coach Trent Bray said. “It’s important we come out and rebound and play well.”
Change is required this Friday, Sept. 26, against Houston (3-0) at Reser Stadium in Corvallis. That change is expected to be seen in quarterback Maalik Murphy’s play, the offensive run game and defensive prowess, according to Bray, who believes nothing short of a victory is an acceptable outcome.
