A mechanical issue led a plane to make an emergency landing on Loop 12 in Dallas Friday afternoon.
According to spokespersons for Dallas police and Dallas Fire-Rescue, first responders were called at about 3:40 p.m. to the 4500 block of Great Trinity Forest Way after a small, single-engine plane flying a banner was forced to land in the road.
No injuries were reported and no cars were struck during the incident, officials said. The exact mechanical issue was not disclosed by officials.
