Man shot in the stomach in front of his family outside his home, suspect on the run

SAN ANTONIO – A man is recovering after being shot in the stomach outside of his home.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, they were called to the scene of a shooting around 1:36 a.m. on Sunday along Delaware Street.

When police arrived, they learned that the 35-year-old victim had been outside with his family when a person known to the victim arrived and shot him in the stomach.

Police at the scene said that the shooting stemmed from some type of disagreement at the scene. The victim was transported to the hospital, and the suspect fled on foot.
