PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Two people were pulled out of their cars after getting trapped in a flooded wash Saturday night.
Around 7 p.m., Phoenix Fire crews responded to a wash near 40th Street and Stanford Drive for reports of multiple vehicles stuck in a wash with high-flowing water.
When crews arrived, they worked to rescue two people from the cars. Neither of them was seriously injured.
This comes after multiple water rescues across the Valley yesterday from serious floodwaters. There is still a flood warning in effect for the Phoenix metro until 10 p.m. Sunday.
