PHOENIX (AZFamily) — The Mighty Mercury will play for a title!
Phoenix moved on to the 2025 WNBA Finals with an 86-81 Game 4 semifinal win over the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday evening.
Minnesota was without head coach Cheryl Reeve in Game 4 after she was suspended in the previous game for comments made about the officiating. The Lynx were also missing All-Star Napheesa Collier in Game 4 after she was injured in the closing seconds of Game 3.
The Mercury will now await a winner between the Las Vegas Aces and Indiana Fever. Indiana forced another game with a 90-83 win over Las Vegas in Game 4 on Sunday. Game 5 of this series is set for Tuesday in Las Vegas.
The WNBA Finals begin on Friday, Oct. 3.
