Eagles vs. Broncos picks against the spread
Jon Hoefling: Denver Broncos (+3.5)
The Eagles haven’t looked like the unstoppable juggernaut we saw a season ago. Denver could very well just run the ball down Philadelphia’s throat for most of this game.
Tyler Dragon: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
The Broncos defense versus a physical Philadelphia offense. This should be one of the best games of the week. The Eagles find multiple ways to win even though they aren’t playing their best football.
Richard Morin: Denver Broncos (+3.5)
The Eagles’ second-half struggles are worth monitoring. I think Denver loses the game, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Broncos get the score within a field goal in the fourth quarter.
Lorenzo Reyes: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
I love the Eagles in this spot. They do have lapses of focus from time to time, but they’ve been the most consistent team in football and their defense should limit Denver’s scoring; the Eagles rank third in defensive red zone efficiency, so I think they roll here at home.
Blake Schuster: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
I love the Broncos defense right now but there is no one who can properly scheme anything to stop the Eagles in the red zone. Philly’s short field play-calling is simply so far ahead of the league it’s obnoxious.
Christopher Bumbaca: Philadelphia Eagles (-3.5)
I covered the Broncos’ game against the Ravens last year and although they showed flashes they just weren’t ready to hang with the big boys yet. It’s not a two-score game but the Eagles will cover this.
