Time to put on your pink and walk for a cause, registration is open for the More Than Pink Walk! Melissa Woolard and Imelda Guzman joined us to share all the details.
The Susan G. Komen 2025San Antonio More Than Pink Walk will be held on Saturday, October 18th at SeaWorld San Antonio. Komen has funded $7.9 million in research grants to Texas institutions, including our very own UT Health Science Center.
One in eight women are diagnosed with breast cancer, these are our moms, sisters, daughters, and friends. Thanks to life-saving research led by Susan G. Komen, new treatments are being developed every day. In San Antonio, we walk to honor the women in our lives, and it’s no surprise to see so many local families showing up in support.
Methodist Healthcare has been a long sponsor of the event. Through their network of hospitals across South Texas, they uplift the people who make San Antonio such a special place to live, work, and play. The return of Susan G. Komen to our city is a powerful reminder to the women of San Antonio: we see you, we care about you, and we stand with you in this fight.
