A man collapsed and died Saturday outside of Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, authorities said.
The death was reported about 5:45 p.m. Saturday at the park at 26101 Magic Mountain Parkway, Lt. Brendan Kinsella of the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.
The death was unrelated to any ride or injury at the park, according to a Six Flags Magic Mountain spokesperson.
The man was pronounced deceased from apparent natural causes, according to Santa Clarita Valley sheriffs.
“We were saddened to learn of a medical event that occurred at the front entrance of the park this evening involving a guest. Our safety team responded immediately to provide aid, with local authorities arriving in minutes to render additional support. Our thoughts are with the guest and their family at this time,” wrote the park in a statement to NBCLA.
