Police seized 260 bottles of alcohol and a gun after a search of the space, and the club’s owner was arrested for “multiple felony warrants,” officials say.
FORT WORTH, Texas — A Fort Worth after-hours club was recently shut down because of “illegal activity,” police say.
Police allege Club 3108 in the 3100 block of N. Main Street “operated in violation of state law and incurred a range of incidents since its inception that have endangered both the safety of their patrons as well as local residents.”
Officers conducted a search amid the investigation, and 260 bottles of alcohol and a gun were seized, police say. The club owner, who was not identified, was also arrested for multiple felony warrants, police say. Another arrest warrant was issued for the same club owner after the multi-agency operation was completed, according to a press release.
“Fort Worth City Legal has initiated legal proceedings against these venues operating in such a manner and will continue to do so as necessary. FWPD is dedicated to providing safety and security to all who call Fort Worth home,” a press release stated.
The operation involved the city of Fort Worth’s legal department, the Texas Comptroller’s Office, the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission, Code Compliance, the City of Fort Worth Health Department, Fort Worth PD SWAT, the Directed Response Unit, Nuisance Abatement, and the Fort Worth Vice unit.
