Allergies, stomach bugs, and flu infections across Houston

If you or everyone around you is getting the sniffles, it’s that time of year again.

Here’s what health experts are saying they’re seeing around the greater Houston area.

HUMBLE

In Humble, MinuteClinic Family Nurse Practitioner Macqualine Triplett said there are already cases of Flu A&B, upper respiratory infections, and an uptick in allergy symptoms.

LEAGUE CITY

MinuteClinic Senior Practice Manager Linda Moghalu said there are upper respiratory infections and COVID-19 cases.

PEARLAND

Dr. Steffanie Campbell from Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pearland said some early flu cases and lots of cold viruses are impacting patients in Pearland.

HOUSTON

At the Kelsey-Seybold Pediatrics clinic in West University, Dr. Kailey Graybill said strep and the flu have affected her patients, while at the clinic in Eldridge, Dr. Surya Jacob said there’s a lot of stomach bugs.

FORT BEND

The Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Sienna is seeing a lot of stomach bugs, according to Dr. Jessica Lanerie.

At the Fort Bend clinic: hand, foot, mouth disease, strep, stomach bugs, COVID, influenza A, and influenza B.
