The Hudson County Democratic Organization tonight released the following statement in response to State Senator Nick Sacco endorsing Republican Jack Ciattarelli for governor over his opponent, Democrat Mikie Sherrill.
“MAGA Jack Ciattarelli has been poking around Hudson County on a DINO hunt for months, if not years. The fact that Donald Trump’s hand-picked candidate landed on Nick Sacco in his third go-around as governor should be of no surprise to anyone.
“Years before Nick Sacco got himself bounced out of the State Senate and had his county-wide candidates get trounced in Democratic primaries, he was spouting the same foul-mouthed misogynistic trash as MAGA Jack Ciattarelli and President Trump.
“Before Jack was standing at podiums laughing that he’ll let the audience “finish this sentence” from Donald Trump, “You gotta beat this (blank)”(1) . . .
“Years before Trump himself was telling people that when it comes to women, ‘You can do anything. Grab ’em by the (expletive deleted)’ while trying to use his Justice Department to sweep his personal relationship with pedophile Jeffrey Epstein under the rug . . .
“Nick Sacco was on tape allegedly threatening a subordinate after allegedly refusing her advances while calling her a ‘pig’, ‘stupid’, and a ‘(expletive deleted”) retard’ while telling her to ‘make amends’ for her ‘scumbag behavior’ while warning her ‘you don’t know what I am capable of doing’. “That complaint was dismissed by the New Jersey Joint Legislative Committee on Ethical Standards because of the ‘timeliness’ of the complaint and not for cause back when Jack Ciattarelli was still in the New Jersey Legislature as a member of the General Assembly. (5)
“Jack will fit in perfectly with these two foul-mouthed misogynists. These three deserve each other, but women everywhere do not.”
