PHOENIX —Spooky Safari is bringing fang-tastic activities to the Phoenix Zoo so families can have a fright to remember.

The event will be at the zoo, located at 455 N. Galvin Parkway, for three days from Oct. 22 to Oct. 24.

On those days, the Halloween-themed celebration will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

What is there to do at the Phoenix Zoo’s Spooky Safari?

Attendees are encouraged to enchant and amaze by dressing up in costumes.

Candy stations will be set up across the zoo, giving kids the feeling of trick-or-treating from the animals themselves as they explore each exhibit.

Other spooktacular activities at the event will include face painting, a dance party with live music and characters and mascots in costumes. Ghoulish games and a Dr. T-Rex interactive science show will also be available to entertain families.

There will be a costume parade every hour as well as other forms of entertainment that haven’t yet been announced.

In addition to the free activities, guests can go for a spin on the Endangered Species Carousel and ride a camel for an extra cost.

Tickets for the event are $18 for both adults and children. However, kids 2 and under get in for free.
