Eric Heninger has joined Jacksonville-based Rise: A Real Estate Co. as its vice president of asset management, according to an Oct. 16 news release.
Heninger spent 13 years with The Collier Cos. in Gainesville, involved with finance and asset management across its housing portfolio, according to the release. He was responsible for more than $2.5 billion in financing.
He has spent more than 20 years in multifamily and student housing operations, financing and asset management.
Heninger’s other roles have included adjunct professor at the University of North Florida teaching finance, real estate investment and corporate leadership.
He has a MBA in finance and real estate from the University of Florida and earned his bachelor’s in finance from Appalachian State University.
“My short term goals are to get to know the RISE team, understand our collective objectives and identify ways to improve efficiencies and outcomes across out assets,” Heninger said in the release.
He will be working to increase the asset management framework, explore opportunities to enhance economic performance and support lender and partner reporting.
