The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is thrilled to welcome guests to the Fall Japanese Festival on November 1-2. This beloved event is your chance to dive into the beautiful art and traditions of Japan while soaking in the Garden’s gorgeous fall colors.  FWBG is once again partnering with the Fort Worth Japanese Society to bring you an unforgettable weekend filled with cultural demonstrations, live performances, special shopping, and mouthwatering traditional foods. The festival is proudly sponsored by Ito En, a leading beverage company dedicated to sharing Japanese tea culture with the world.  “At Ito En, we are honored to support the Fall Japanese Festival at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden and celebrate the Japanese community of North Texas,” said Rob Smith, Chief Sales Officer at Ito En North America. “This festival beautifully reflects the traditions and spirit of Japan, and we are proud to help share that culture through tea, art, and community engagement.”

Year of the Snake  According to the Japanese zodiac, 2025 is the year of the wood snake. Like the autumn season, the wood snake symbolizes transformation, wisdom, and thoughtful reflection, an ideal complement to the beauty of fall.

Artistry and Culture  Throughout the festival, you’ll enjoy cultural demonstrations that highlight the artistry and tradition of Japanese culture. Watch tranquil tea ceremonies, cheer on exciting martial arts performances, and discover so much more that brings Japanese heritage to life. Shopping enthusiasts will appreciate the unique vendors offering beautiful, handcrafted items, traditional clothing, and stunning artwork that capture the true spirit of Japan.  Festival x Food   And no festival would be complete without food! Treat yourself to delicious authentic Japanese dishes lovingly prepared by talented members of the Fort Worth Japanese Society, plus enjoy a variety of tasty options from Asian-themed food trucks.

Award Winning  While the entire Garden will be open for you to explore and discover, the Japanese Garden serves as the heart of the festival—hosting the Fort Worth Japanese Society. It’s the perfect backdrop for this special celebration! In fact, we’re proud to share that FWBG’s Japanese Garden was recently named the most peaceful place in Texas and among the quietest spots in the world by earth.fm.
