PHOENIX — Fast-casual healthy food chain Sweetgreen is continuing its expansion in the Valley by announcing the opening date for its second Arizona restaurant.
The new restaurant, located near Camelback Road and 32nd Street in Phoenix, will open next Tuesday, the company announced.
This comes just more than a month after Sweetgreen opened its first Arizona location at Scottsdale Quarter.
“We’re thrilled by the incredible response to our Scottsdale Quarter opening and grateful to be welcomed so warmly by the community,” COO Jason Cochran said in a press release. “Building on that momentum, we’re even more thrilled to open our doors at Camelback and 32nd in Phoenix.”
On opening day, ice cream from Negranti Creamery will be available at the Phoenix restaurant, along with Sweetgreen-themed merchandise. A DJ will also be playing music.
As part of the celebration, Sweetgreen will donate a meal to St. Mary’s Food Bank for every meal purchased on opening day.
