The commute for North Texans continues to flow smoothly Wednesday morning. Travel times are on the climb throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with no major lane closures or incidents.

Travel times
As of 8 a.m., a few areas have significant delays in travel times, according to the Texas Department of Transportation:
Breaking News
- On Interstate-45/US-75 northbound, near near Overton to I-635, traffic is moving at about 17 mph, and travel time for a roughly 15-mile stretch of this road is 54 minutes.
- Going northbound for about 12 miles on I-635, near Town Centre to US-75, traffic is moving at 18 mph. Travel time on this stretch is up to 41 minutes.
- Another significant delay is going northbound on Loop 12, near Jefferson to I-635. Traffic is moving about 23 mph for about 12 miles. Travel time is 31 minutes.
Collisions and lane closures
A few minor collisions are popping up across the region, according to TxDOT’s map, with seemingly no major disruptions to traffic flow as of 8 a.m. Most of the reported incidents had at least one lane closure.
One collision to note, however, was on I-35E northbound at Wintergreen Road in Desoto. Police and fire crews were on the scene around 8 a.m., and two lanes were closed, prompting a slight traffic jam on the highway.
