A Morris County woman has been found alive in New York more than three months after she was reported missing, authorities said.

Destiny Erts, 26, of Randolph, was located Oct. 21 in Harlem, the Morris County Prosecutor’s Office said in a press release. Law enforcement officials responded to the New York City borough to facilitate her transport back to New Jersey.

Erts was last seen at the Dover Public Library the morning of July 11. She has an intellectual disability and was considered endangered due to her condition.

The FBI and NYPD joined the search after authorities pursued leads in the Bronx and other areas throughout New York City.

Morris County Prosecutor Robert Carroll thanked all participating law enforcement agencies for their efforts during the investigation, as well as the public for providing tips and expressing concern for Erts.
