When Kane retires, he will be remembered as one of the very best to grace the Premier League, which will put his name alongside several United legends.

From the iconic Class of ’92 to the 2008 Champions League-winning side, United have produced some of England’s best-ever teams.

Speaking to GOAL, Kane admitted that he would have loved to share the pitch with United icon David Beckham.

When asked which retired player he would’ve loved to play with, Kane didn’t hesitate at all before naming Beckham.

Unfortunately for Kane, Beckham retired in 2013 – the same year that he was on loan at Leicester City.

Harry Kane could still enter Man United history books

Kane clearly admires the legacy that Beckham left at Old Trafford, and it is not too late for England’s all-time top scorer to write his own history at United.

In Benjamin Sesko, United have an extremely exciting young talent up front. Having a role model such as Kane would help him to fulfil his incredible potential.

Ineos have preferred to sign young and upcoming talents, but Kane has proven this season that he is still among the world’s best players at 32 years old.

Kane is only 47 goals away from being the all-time top goalscorer in the Premier League, and he could be tempted to return to England and achieve that feat. Doing it at Old Trafford would add his name to the legendary history books at United.
