The Fort Worth City Plan Commission at its Oct. 15 meeting unanimously approved the hospital district’s request to vacate part of East Morphy Street and Bryan Avenue, and all of St. Joseph Court. The area is north of Allen Avenue, south of West Magnolia Avenue, west of railroad right of way, and east of South Main Street.

Scott Gibson from the civil engineering firm Teague Nall and Perkins spoke on behalf of the Tarrant County Hospital District. He said the vacation request is in conjunction with a “green plat” that the hospital district will bring forward in the future for hospital development.

There was no opposition and no discussion.
