Some Dallas-area drivers can expect difficulties during their Wednesday morning commute as incidents, prompting lane closures and possible delays, continue to pop up in various parts of the region.

A collision on Interstate-635, between Dallas and Garland, prompted the closure of at least two lanes during peak rush hour.

The incident occurred on I-635 westbound at Kingsley Road around 7:20 a.m., according to the Texas Department of Transportation’s map.

TxDOT’s map showed some moderate traffic disruptions as of about 7:45 a.m. It is not immediately clear when the lanes will reopen.

A few other incidents of note in the region included:

  • Near Dallas Love Field, on State Highway 183 eastbound at Mockingbird Lane. At least one lane was closed just ahead of peak rush hour. The scene has since been cleared.
  • Near Rockwall, on I-30 going west at FM 551. At least one lane was closed, but the scene has since been cleared, according to TxDOT’s map.
