Always trust the cryptic IG story. Love Is Blind season 9’s Megan Walerius, a.k.a. Sparkle Megan dropped the bombshell that there is a Sparkle Baby in her life now. “I had a baby boy two and a half months ago,” Walerius said during the reunion episode. “He is my whole world. I now know more than ever I was put on this earth to be a mom.” Walerius had hinted as much on her Instagram stories hours before the reunion. Vanessa Lachey had follow-up questions, asking the name of the baby (Brooks) and baby daddy (Paul, who was in the reunion audience). “We wrapped filming in April, and Paul and I got introduced through a mutual friend in July,” she said. Walerius added that she got pregnant three months into dating Paul Last Name TBD, and she brought a pregnancy journey slideshow to prove it.
Motherhood was a running theme for Sparkle Megan on this season of Love Is Blind. She brought it up in her first talk in the pods. Walerius then paired with Jordan Keltner, and was introduced to his 5-year-old son during taping. The pair eventually broke up in the finale. “In the pods, I was really leaning into him being a single father, the excitement of it. I don’t think I thought through how challenging it is and how I would need to make a lot of concessions to how I currently live,” she said in a confessional. “Honestly, this has me questioning if I’m even cut out to be a mom.” Well she’s clearly no longer questioning it. Keltner said Walerius was “transparent” about her pregnancy, so he wasn’t blindsided at the reunion. The ladies, on the other hand, had a genuine reaction on-camera. When Walerius dropped the baby bomb, KB shouted “That’s why you got so thick!”
