PHOENIX – An investigation is underway after a man was killed in a shooting in southwest Phoenix on Thursday night, authorities said.
Officers responded to a call about shots fired in the area of 41st Avenue and Buckeye Road around 11 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department.
They found 21-year-old Angel Rodriguez Tapia suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No other details about the ongoing investigation were made available.
Anybody with information about the deadly shooting is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS (948-6377) or 480-TESTIGO (837-8446) for Spanish. Callers can remain anonymous, and tips that lead to an arrest could be eligible for a cash reward.
