HOUSTON — A major traffic tie-up on Houston’s north side has finally cleared — just in time for the evening rush hour.
A truck flipped on its side on the North Loop eastbound at the Eastex Freeway late Friday morning and spilled its load. From Air 11, we could see the truck tipped over with whatever it was hauling spilled all over the roadway.
It took a hazmat team several hours to clean up the mess so the ramp could reopen.
At this point, we don’t know what led to the two-vehicle wreck or if anyone was hurt.
