Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Las Vegas Raiders: Keys to victory
The Florida Times-Union gets you started with the keys to victory for the Jaguars against the Las Vegas Raiders.
LAS VEGAS — The Jacksonville Jaguars (4-3) are set to take on the Las Vegas Raiders (2-5) on the road in Week 9.
Before the game, the Jaguars announced that starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence was dealing with an illness, but it would not impact his game-day status, and he is expected to start.

If Lawrence’s condition worsens at all, Jacksonville can turn to backup QB Nick Mullens.
The team was dealt a tough blow this week when rookie receiver/cornerback Travis Hunter injured his right knee in practice. The ailment will sideline him for at least the next four games after he was officially placed on injured reserve Friday afternoon.
The team is dealing with multiple injuries this week, particularly at receiver, with Hunter down and receiver Tim Patrick ruled out ahead of the game. Receivers Brian Thomas Jr. and Dyami Brown are dealing with shoulder injuries, but they were cleared to play and removed from the injury report on Friday.
Tight end Quintin Morris (groin) was also ruled out ahead of time.
Additionally, Jacksonville could be without starting linebacker Devin Lloyd for a second straight game after the veteran linebacker missed the team’s trip to London after sustaining a calf injury a week before during the team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks in Week 6.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Lloyd is expected to miss today’s game against the Raiders.
The Jaguars are not dealing with any more significant injuries.
