It looks like Maya Hawke is selling her Greenwich Village one-bedroom. The Stranger Things actor, Ethan Hawke’s daughter, listed the sixth-floor co-op on East 9th Street on Monday for $1.6 million. According to city records, she bought the place for $1.35 million in 2021 but apparently hasn’t been using it much. A profile of the 27-year-old in The New Yorker last year noted that “although she keeps an apartment near Union Square, she is rarely in New York these days.”

And really, that’s a shame, because the apartment has great windows. There are also 11-foot ceilings and a working marble fireplace. The kitchen is New York City narrow but has been redone with black-granite countertops and a Subzero fridge. The built-in bookshelves and sunken living room are nice touches!

The unit is in an old-school full-service doorman building with a nice rooftop garden. All in all, the place is nice but surprisingly normal. Like an apartment that would play a more attractive version of an actual apartment on a Netflix show.

The apartment features a sunken living room, as shown in the listing photo here, that comes with a working marble fireplace.
