Silversmith-to-the-stars Clint Orms is polishing up a new era in the Texas Hill Country. The luxury brand has opened a new flagship boutique at 741 Water St. in downtown Kerrville, showcasing handcrafted Western money clips, bracelets, and belt buckles.
The Wichita Falls native launched his brand in the early ‘90s, soon becoming a hit at the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. His work incorporated traditional Western motifs such as cactus blossoms, bucking broncos, buffalo, and cow skulls.

“When I was a kid, I wanted to be a champion cowboy,” Orms says in a release. “Rodeo taught me passion and determination. But I knew I needed another path. I traveled across the West to learn from master silver designers, studied vintage buckles and antique silver, and taught myself much of the craft. I wanted to make something that would last and tell a story; a piece that could be passed from generation to generation.”
The commitment to quality scored him some very high-profile clients. Among the more famous collectors are former President George W. Bush, Tommy Lee Jones, Nolan Ryan, and a galaxy of country stars like Garth Brooks, Dwight Yoakam, and Robert Earl Keen. More recently, Post Malone has been spotted wearing Orms’ giant trophy buckles.

The 11,000-square-foot Kerrville space pairs a 2,500-square-foot showroom with a production studio. Austin architectural firm Nelsen Partners outfitted the space with slate walls and handsome woods, opening up the moody interior with a black-framed window that peers into the 19 artisans at work.
Although the store is now open, Orms has planned a weekend of grand opening celebrations on November 13-15. The festivities include an invitation-only preview on November 13, a public shopping day on November 14, and a VIP party on November 15. The public event will feature a vendor showcase, like-minded artisans, including Jan Barboglio, Love Art × Pascoe Gallery, Morris Kaye & Sons Furs, Mercury Leatherworks, Fringe Scarves, Resistol Hats, Boss & Co., and Vudoo Gunworks.
“We are thrilled to open our flagship showroom in Kerrville, our home for more than two decades,” says Orms. “This new space allows us to bring customers into the heart of our craft, to see the work, meet the makers, and celebrate the spirit of the American West.”
