Nashville-based AJ Capital Partners (“AJ Capital”) today announced the newest addition to its Memoir Residential brand, Memoir May Hosiery. Located in the heart of the Wedgewood Houston neighborhood the new residential offering is now pre-leasing as it approaches March 2026 opening. Memoir May Hosiery is located at 1210 Martin Street across from the historic May Hosiery Mills in Wedgewood Village, AJ Capital’s 18-acre mixed-use development.

The building will feature 109 residential units across studio, one, and two-bedroom layouts with flexible lease terms. Curated amenities include a rooftop pool and cabanas; gathering spaces with a wet bar for entertaining, billiards, and a communal terrace plus fire pit; and a 24-hour state-of-the-art fitness studio. The building is also home to two James Beard-recognized restaurants, Momotaro and Alla Vita, a new cocktail bar, Perenn Grocery, and neighborhood bookstore Bell Bird Books.

Residents will enjoy elevated interiors including industrial-style windows, high ceilings, antique brass hardware, handcrafted tile made in Nashville, and a choice of ivory or green finishes. Select residences feature terraces. Thoughtfully designed to honor the historic May Hosiery Mills across the street, Memoir May Hosiery includes a factory-style, brick façade and iconic arched windows.
From the oldest sock mill in the South to the epicenter of a vibrant new community, May Hosiery Mills has a storied history rooted in Wedgewood Houston. AJ Capital’s meticulous historic restoration of the six-building, four-acre property transformed approximately 198,000 square feet of interior space into a modern-day mixed-used campus, solidifying Wedgewood Village as a destination for fashion, art, music, and entertainment.

Building upon the fabric of Wedgewood Houston as a crossroads for culture and commerce, Wedgewood Village is a destination for fashion, art, music, and entertainment just south of downtown Nashville in a long industrial part of town. Memoir May Hosiery residents will be surrounded by a vibrant mix of retail, dining, and culture such as four James Beard-recognized restaurants, including Pastis and Bastion, as well as Soho House Nashville, curated shops, art galleries, and a new Live Nation music venue.
