Woman dies after being shot multiple times at self-storage unit in northeast Houston

A woman was pronounced dead after being found with multiple gunshot wounds by Houston police at a self-storage unit at 6400 Eastex Freeway at 10:15 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2025, in northeast Houston. (Copyright 2025 by KPRC Click2Houston – All rights reserved.)

HOUSTON – A person responsible for the shooting death of a woman in northeast Houston on Wednesday morning is still on the run as investigators continue to look for leads.

Houston police responded to a self-storage unit at 6400 Eastex Freeway at 10:15 a.m. after reports of a shooting.

The woman was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

No details about the shooter has been released. Homicide detectives responded to the scene to learn what led up the the shooting.
